Every year it is fun to highlight one of my most successful clients. This year it was Kelly H. She started working with me last January 12, 2015. She came to me with a goal to lose 65 lbs and feel better. Her body fat was in 37.4% and she was feeling tired all the time. Her current exercise was using the elliptical 5 x a week for 45 minutes and volleyball at least 3 x a week, but all this exercise wasn’t moving her weight. As a sports dietitian and weight loss specialist I have seen this situation many times. Kelly knew her nutrition must change in order to see results. So I worked out a nutrition plan and she lost consistently 2 pounds a week to reach her goal by the fall September 2015. She reached her goal in September and her new goal for 2016 is complete her first Ironman! Way to go Kelly!
